The physical Entrepreneur's Notebook® is a product with a hybrid concept, because legally it is a book, presenting relevant content, but it also works as a notebook. It is a manual that gathers entrepreneurial and managerial tools in one place and follows a process, allowing you to start an Entrepreneurship project.


The digital version of the Entrepreneur's Notebook® is an agile and complete collaborative platform, based on tools and organized in a process, to be able to undertake or innovate within a group of people or individually, thus creating a new business or a new product.


Doing is one of the basic principles of Entrepreneurship and the Entrepreneur’s Notebook can be your first Entrepreneurship tool and allows you to take the first step towards starting your own project. This tool follows the Model and Principles of Eric Ries’ Lean Startup and focuses primarily on the first phase - the idea, and may also enter, in some cases, in the Prototype Phase.


Entrepreneurship is about trial and error and the Lean Startup Methodology makes the process more scientific, reduces errors and mitigates risks. Entrepreneurs are everywhere and each of us can be an entrepreneur. This solution is aimed at those who have ideas and who want to undertake: entrepreneurs, intrapreneurs, Entrepreneurship/Innovation students and managers. Entrepreneurship obeys certain conditions and thus can be based on need or opportunity and the starting point for a project can be an idea, or the discovery of a problem, or the appearance or creation of an opportunity.


Creating a successful business in modern times is a big challenge; it needs a new approach and having a model and the right tools is essential. As a management tool and a process, which is an aid to innovation and Entrepreneurship, the Entrepreneur’s Notebook is a product, which transmits knowledge and presents specific tools for the entrepreneur.


The business creation process can be learned and is a consequence of a will, need or opportunity, and must start from an “engineering” with guidelines. This Notebook aims to teach, guide and systematize the ideation process of a new product/service or business.


The user of this product must first look for something essential, which is to learn, understand and validate the problem (failure, gap, need, dissatisfaction...) and the market (potential customers), and then define and validate a solution with that market; Problem-Market-Solution-Fit. Subsequently, you must build an MVP (Minimum Viable Product), or a low-fidelity prototype, to validate a solution, test the product/service/business by collecting feedback from users or potential customers. It will adjust the product to the market, testing the business model and iterating with the market; Product-Market-Fit. Iterating with the market never ends, as this is a customer-focused learning, measurement and construction process that starts right from the initial research and discovery phase to a business construction and validation phase, continuing at a later stage to be able to test growth and scale the business.


Entrepreneurship is management and we must learn from potential users or customers, validate what we have learned, iterate with them and, if necessary, make a special structured change (Pivot), which focuses on the product, the business model and the business growth engine, but we must be agile, fast and resilient.


In addition to Lean Startup, this product follows and advises the Customer Development Methodology, discovery, research and market orientation, i.e. understanding your target market(s) and their needs, as well as using the Customer Development Methodology, helping you create a product that meets the needs of that market(s).


This tool, platform, therefore, focuses on the initial phase of a start-up, or the life cycle of a product or business, which is the Ideation Phase. This is the phase in which the idea is born, and the product concept gradually takes shape before being ready for launch.
